 David King is the founder of Culpeper Capital Partners, focused on investments in the financial and business services sectors. He previously was a managing director at Fortress Investment Group, senior managing director at Irving Place Capital/Bear Stearns Merchant Banking Partners, and a partner at McCown DeLeeuw & Co. David has more than 30 years of board experience in a variety of strategic circumstances.  He is currently on the boards of Afore Insurance Services, Caribbean Financial Group, Mosaic Insurance and Canopius.  

 Aaron Slan is a Senior Advisor to Culpeper. He is a private equity/special situations investment professional with over 20 years of experience. He is passionate about finding ways to make investments with highly attractive risk reward profiles by taking advantage of market circumstances, helping companies solve problems/pursue opportunities, leveraging underappreciated assets and devising bespoke investment structures suited for specific situations. He has previously worked with David King at both Irving Place Capital and Fortress Investment Group, where he was most recently a Managing Director. 

Mr. Cahill has over 40 years of experience in insurance, (re)insurance commercial brokerage, global sales, management, and advisory services. He was the Managing Director of Global Specialties for Marsh LLC from 2006 to 2018, where he built a $1B premium facility for Macquarie and $100M bancassurance program.

Mr. Caruso has over 40 years of experience in senior financial and operating positions in financial services with over 10 years as a senior advisor and board member to private equity. He is the former CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of CardWorks, as well as the former VP of Finance and Group CFO of The Travelers Investment Operations.

 Mr. Quirk joined CCP in 2011.  Bill previously worked for three years as an analyst at Endurance Capital, a private equity fund that invested in community banks.
